In my opinion, skin is the perfect place to start as we go along this journey to flawless beauty. You can't paint a great masterpiece on a surface that is rough or bumpy or that has spots/marks etc. Starting with a clean and smooth canvas is the best way to create your masterpiece. SKIN CARE REGIMEN : Alot of people don't in general have a skin care regimen. I didn't before I was educated on how important it was. A s.c.r  is important because daily/weekly your skin gets the proper cleansing, exfoliant, toning (PH balance), moisture, and sunscreen it needs to maintain its healthiness. I would be the one that would just use a cleanser and go. WRONG..if you are just doing that you need to come to an abrupt stop...unless you want to see visible signs of aging faster. who wants that?. This article is for the benefit of men and women. People also get the misconception that men's skin doesn't need as much care as women. WRONG. Men need just as much care if not more. Especially since men are more likely to do the roughest of jobs like working around polluted air and so on. So here is basically a layout of what each element does for your skin and how it benefits from it.

CLEANSER:
Cleanses your your face from bacteria, particles and etc. that has landed on your face during the day whether from your environment (smoke, pollution, coughing, sneezing etc.) or touching (kisses and cheeks pulls from Aunt Sally, lol) etc.

EXFOLIANT:
This is very important because exfoliant gets down in your pores to remove impurities and dirt that may clog pores and cause pimples, and acne if not did daily or every other day, maybe weekly depending on your skin type. (normal, oily, dry, combination, sensitive)

TONING:
Is also important because you strip your skin of its natural oils from cleaning/exfoliating you want to tone to bring the PH balance back to your skin.

MOISTURIZE!:
Moisturizing prevents dry skin, also makes your skin smooth and soft (perfect for the beginning of makeup application, smooth canvas) and who wants to walk around with a dry face? I know I don't.

SUNSCREEN:
Last but certainly not LEAST. ALL skin types and colors need sunscreen. People get the misconception that only people with "fair to light skin" need sunscreen.I am going to say that yes they are the ones that need it the most. but even though medium to dark skinned people have more built in melanin in our skin to protect and not absorb as much of the sun,a good amount of sun rays are still absorbed so yes, we need sunscreen as well.Being vulnerable to sun rays are VERY BAD. It can lead to skin cancer, premature aging of the skin, as well as sun damage, uneven skin tones and the list goes on. So if you don't know, Now you do!. go get a bottle today!
